Missions Week transpired on the last week of February, culminating in Missions Sabbath on February 27. The SDB Missionary Society is profoundly grateful to all the individuals and churches which participated in the activities of the week in any way. On Missions Sabbath, churches were challenged to receive an offering for the Missionary Society. If you or your church missed that date and were not able to give your contribution then, it is not too late. You still have an opportunity.
All the funds received from the Missions Sabbath offering will be used to fund the SDB Africa Bible College (ABC). This is a brand new 2-year theological and ministry training program for SDB Pastors and Leaders in east, central, and southern Africa. Twelve modules will be taught over the two years utilizing self-study, seminars, and implementation projects. This program will meet a significant need in many of our African Conferences.
For the Missions Offering, a trophy will be awarded to the church which sends in the largest contribution to the Missionary Society, and those funds must be received at the Society’s office by March 31. So, there is your small window of opportunity to get your offering in.
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 13:47
