Special greeting to SDB Missionary Society Prayer Partners,
The Society thanks you for agreeing to join us in faithfully praying about requests as they have reached you. Our Society believes prayer is not just the fuel that runs our ministry, it is at the core of the ministry. Prayers should go with us and before us in all that we do. God bless you for your part in our work.
Because of this, we are looking to be more intentional in the prayer aspect of the work of the Missionary Society and are therefore seeking SDBs, who are committed to prayer and passionate about reaching persons globally for Christ, to join our core Prayer Force. These volunteers will primarily be participating in weekly prayer meeting conference calls and helping to recruit other Interested persons to do likewise.
Acts 12:5-7 “So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.”
Prayer is a key that unlocks God’s favor/power in the life of the believer! The Missionary Society is first a spiritual organization and so we crave God’s guidance and power as we go into all the word with the Gospel.
