There will be no General Conference gathering this year. However, President Kevin Butler, and Conference leaders are working to bring a flavor of our Conference Week virtually, July 26-August 1, 2020. As a part of this Virtual Conference, the Missionary Society will be hosting, three separate hours of Q&A from 2-5pm EST on the opening day, July 26. You will need to register for your choice of these sessions, registration info will be provided later.
Also, on Thursday, July 30 at 8pm EST, the Society will present a session of conversation with international guests from the Philippines, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Egypt.
A virtual Gospel Feet 5K run/walk is also on. Participants may run or walk anytime, anywhere, or with anyone, even on a treadmill, with one week to complete your race (July 26 – August 2). The official day of the event is Sunday, July 26 at 11 am EST. For registration, go to https://runsignup.com/gospelfeet5k – Cost, adults $20 & $10 for Kids. All proceeds will go towards the SDB Missionary Society’s COVID-19 relief ministry to SDB conferences globally.
