Your Congregation is invited to support the second, annual Missions Award Campaign, set to begin March 15th and end May 15th, 2018. This campaign is a fund raising effort to further help spread the gospel to all nations. Last year your collective diligence amassed a grand total of $14,965. The expanding work of the Missionary Society depends on your support. The lead supporting SDB churches in 2017 were the First Hopkinton, NYC, and Houston. They placed first, second and third respectively. We are all winners who give to advance the Kingdom of God. Congratulations and a big thank you to all who contributed.
Which SDB congregation will be the next winner of the Missions Supporter Award? Your church is encouraged to target raising a minimum of $1000, with the church raising the most funds taking home the award. The goal this year is to raise $40,000 to grow the missions work. Here are a few possible ways to raise funds: (1) International Themed Church Dinners, (2) Members’ skills auction, (3) Bake sale, (4) Rummage sale, and (5) Weekly dedicated offering. We look forward to hearing about your fundraising activities.
