How is the fundraising campaign coming along for your congregation? Your church still has a chance to be in the running for the 2019 Church Global Missions Award, with approximately two weeks to go. The campaign ends May 15th, 2019. Funds raised will be used to shore up the Society’s capital fund, one focus is to help with expenses when staff travel to preach, teach & work nationally and globally. The church raising most funds takes home the award and is recognized at General Conference.
The Society is embarking on a new 5-year vision, to intensify efforts in carrying the message of salvation across North America and around the world. There are plans to have at least four short term evangelism missions per year, one TIME Program training, play a role in planting seven churches globally and by the end of the five years to reintroduce long term missionaries in the field. This effort will certainly call for more resources, hence the need to raise more funds. We look forward to hearing about your fundraising activities over the next few weeks.
