It is our pleasure to introduce Jo-Daniel Wilson and Shamanisha Wilmot, of the Jamaican SDB Conference. They will be joining young adults of the USA & Canada SDB Conference, for Summer Christian Service Corps (SCSC) this year. Jo-Daniel is a member of Blue Mountain SDB, where he is a part of the Social Action Committee and chairperson of the Music Committee. He is also a 1st-year Knox Community College student, pursuing an Associate Degree in Engineering. Shamanisha is a member of Port Maria SDB, where she is the President of the Youth Fellowship, and Assistant Secretary. She is also a 3rd-year University of Technology student, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Under the motto “Service for a Summer, Leadership for a Lifetime”, students will connect for training to enrich their relationship with Christ and get equipped for assigned projects. They will then be deployed, virtually again this year, to churches in USA & Canada, for the summer.
