Our SDB Brethren in Burundi has been experiencing many challenges but continues to remind us that the mission of the church is to win souls. They report the baptism of 25 new believers on March 31, 2018. This baptism was conducted by Pastor Calist of the Gihanga SDB church, in the Kajeke River. To God be the glory!
This and other recent baptisms are the results of a program they instituted called “WORK TOGETHER” to help develop their Conference in response to challenges they are experiencing, including building/property standards set by their Government. Their program includes a special evangelism project and the collection of money to acquire lands for local Church buildings, which should help them stand before their Government.
This project is certainly adding souls to God’s Kingdom.
