ECUADOR & COLOMBIA TRIP UPDATE

Our recent mission team to Ecuador and Colombia in South America included Danny Lee and Andy Samuels, Missionary Society President and Chief Executive Director respectively, as well as Douglas Marianno from Brazil.

We were able to train leaders, participate in the distribution of groceries and Bibles to residents in an impoverished area on the outskirts of the capital city of Quito, Ecuador and give encouragement to our brothers and sisters in the land of the equator. It was also quite impressive to visit the offices of Andrea Pozo and see the location from which she translates the Helping Hand into Spanish, a ministry she has been doing for more than 12 years.

Your support also allowed us to travel to Colombia to share with two new SDB Churches in the Barranquilla area. It was very fulfilling to have the privilege of teaching SDB history and Sabbath theology to the enthusiastic and eager believers, to preach the Gospel, to walk the community and pray for residents, and to give Bibles to grateful recipients. Pastor Orlando Pertuz and his wife Patricia could use further support as they seek to extend their sanctuary facilities to accommodate their growing congregation.

We are deeply grateful for all of your support in all the ways that were generously made available to us.
