Application Deadline Approaching!

The application deadline for the 2026 Young Adult Guyana Short-Term Missions Trip is quickly approaching. If you are a young adult sensing a call to missions, or a pastor, parent, or church leader who knows someone ready to take the next step of faith, now is the time to act.

Applications for this trip are due by January 31, 2026, and space is limited.

From August 2-16, 2026 (tentative dates), a team of five to seven young adults ages 18 to 30 will travel to Guyana to serve alongside local churches, families, and children at Camp Glory. This short-term experience is designed as a vision trip, giving participants the opportunity to witness God’s work firsthand, build meaningful relationships, and discern how God may be inviting them into deeper involvement in missions.

Participants will assist with children’s ministry, connect with families, and help lead camp activities. While previous cross-cultural experience is helpful, it is not required. We are looking for young adults with teachable hearts, a willingness to serve, and a desire to follow God’s leading. Because the team size is small, interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Applicants must:

• Be members of an SDB church

• Have a pastor’s recommendation

• Be willing to complete training and debriefing courses

• Commit to raising $2,500 USD to cover expenses

We also encourage pastors, parents, and church leaders to prayerfully consider who in your congregation may be ready for this opportunity. A timely conversation or word of encouragement could make all the difference as the deadline draws near.
