VIP Program Announced
The first two VIP Instructors
Pastor Quistin Chalwe from Zambia and Pastor Kingsley Gauti from Malawi have been in the United States as the inaugural pair of instructors in the Visiting Instructors Program (VIP). This program is a parternship between the Missionary Society, Africa Bible College, the North American General Confernce, the Memorial Fund, and others. For the past few weeks, the instructors were in Wisconsin, teaching and ministering to local leadership. During the weekend of October 27-29, they presented seminars during the first ever Conference Emerging Leaders Gathering. Topics covered included answering the following questions from an African Perspective: How do we view God? How do we share God with our neighbors? What does the Gospel mean for society? What does the Gospel mean for the world? These seminars were recorded and will be available to pastors for continuing education credits in the future. The instructors are currently in Florida, and will be attending the South Atlantic Association this weekend. This will include attending the SALT (South Atlantic Leadership Training) graduation, devotions on the beach, and presentations to General Council. We are so grateful for the many hands working together to spread the Kingdom!
