White Christmas – 2006

*Bicycles for both the women in leadership and the pastors in most of our countries. These bicycles will cost from $200 to $400 depending upon the country. Countries included are: Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda.

*Medical supplies and medicines are needed for Rwanda, Liberia, Malawi, The Gambia, Ghana and The Cameroon.

*Many of our conferences have schools associated to their churches and they need funds to continue with this service.

*School supplies, books and equipment for many of our sister conferences and churches. The churches view education as the most important element that will bring their children out of poverty and the post-war trauma out of their country.

*Sewing supplies and material for many of our sister conferences.

*Bibles and study materials, including The Helping Hand, for our sister conferences and churches. Most of the churches have very poor libraries. They need books to teach their congregations and those around the church. Many of their pastors do not have a good Bible from which to teach.

*Children’s Bibles in most of our sister conferences and churches. These Bibles cost from $1 to $9. Everyone wants a Bible they can call their own.

*Leadership materials and supplies for most of the sister conferences and churches. This includes the CALLED and TIME programs.

*Keyboards and other musical instruments for many churches in our sister conferences. These will cost between $400 and $800.

*Hymnals for the churches in most of our sister conferences and churches.

*Funds to support the translation and printing of literature used in outreach in most of our churches.

*Computers and printers for our churches and conferences. These will need to be purchased in the country in which they are to be used. The amount of duty taxes are great enough that you end up paying almost as much as it costs there anyway. Also, a place for repairs and upgrading is available when you purchase it in the country.

*Photocopiers for our churches. Advice same as the computer. Cost is at least $2,500.

*Scholarships for Makapwa Bible School. $500 per semester, per student.

*Funds for church building roofs in Rwanda. $200 to $300.

*Funds for building plots in many of our sister conferences and churches.

*Funds for the wives of the leaders to travel to the churches to teach the women.

*Funds to help the poor and children in many of our sister conferences and churches.

*Funds to help organize and develop the Women’s Board in our sister conferences and churches. This will include sending a woman as the instructor/mentor. This is a new program and we are not sure of the cost. We have had many requests for this service, especially from the newer developed conferences and churches. They want to be able to operate their Women's Board as well as we do ours.

*Funds to help support the ministries in church projects in the USA. This would include outreach, education of pastor in relationship to our denomination polity and beliefs, and help in rent or salaries.
